Product Description

A complete, serum-supplemented medium optimized for the proliferation and maintenance of immortalized human colon fibroblasts (e.g., CCD-18Co, CRL-1459). Formulated to support high viability while maintaining fibroblast morphology and key biomarker expression including α-SMA and vimentin.

Recommended Culture Protocol

Subculture Procedure

1. Wash cells with Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free PBS

2. Detach cells using cell detachment solution

3. Neutralize with neutralization solution

4. Centrifuge at 200 × g for 5 minutes

5. Resuspend in fresh ICFGM medium and seed at 5,000–10,000 cells/cm² in T25/T75 flasks

Feeding Schedule

• Change medium every 48–72 hours

• Passage cells at 70–80% confluency (avoid overgrowth)
