Product Description

Primary endothelial cells derived from normal human synovial tissue, ideal for studying inflammation, angiogenesis, and joint-related vascular biology. Cells are shipped in frozen vials at passage 1. For optimal results, culture using Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium.

Handling Upon Arrival

Upon delivery, store vials at −80°C (short term) or in a liquid nitrogen tank for long-term preservation. Use appropriate safety precautions when handling human-derived cells.


Thawing & Subculturing Instructions

A) Pre-coat T25 flask with 2 mL Coating Solution, incubate 5 min, rinse with 4 mL rinse solution, and aspirate.
B) Thaw frozen vial in 37°C water bath, disinfect exterior, and transfer to a biosafety cabinet.
C) Add 10 mL Endothelial Growth Medium to a pre-coated flask and seed cells.
D) Once confluent, rinse cells twice with 5 mL rinse solution, add 2 mL Detachment Solution, and aspirate after 20 sec.
E) Wait 1–2 minutes or until cells round up, then gently tap flask to release.
F) Add 5 mL Neutralization Solution, centrifuge at 800g for 5 min.
G) Resuspend cell pellet in 10–15 mL medium and distribute into 2–3 flasks (1:2 or 1:3 ratio).
H) Change medium every 2–3 days; confluence typically reached within 7 days.
I) For quiescence, switch to Endothelial Basal Medium for 12 hrs prior to experiment.
