Product Description

Cells were isolated from normal human prostate tissue, ideal for research in prostate microcirculation, vascular biology, and endothelial function. Provided at passage 1 and shipped cryopreserved. For optimal results, use Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium.

Handling Upon Arrival

Store frozen vials immediately at −80°C for short term or in liquid nitrogen for long-term storage.


Thawing & Subculturing Instructions

A) Pre-coat T25 flask with 2 mL Nuvyra Labs Coating Solution, incubate 5 min, rinse with 4 mL cell rinse solution, aspirate excess.
B) Thaw cell vial in 37°C water bath, disinfect, and transfer to biosafety cabinet.
C) Add 10 mL Endothelial Growth Medium to pre-coated flask and transfer cells.
D) Once confluent, passage cells as follows:

  • Rinse with 5 mL rinse solution (×2)

  • Add 2 mL Detachment Solution, aspirate excess within 20 seconds

  • Wait 1–2 min at RT or 37°C, tap flask gently to release cells

  • Add 5 mL Neutralization Solution, centrifuge at 800g for 5 min

E) Resuspend in 10–15 mL medium, split into 2–3 pre-coated T25 flasks
F) Change medium every 2–3 days; confluence is typically reached in ~7 days
G) To prepare quiescent cells, replace with Endothelial Basal Medium for 12 hrs
