Name of Products
Human Pancreatic Endothelial Cells
Catalog Number
HP12
Product Format
Frozen Vial
Cell Number
5 × 10⁵ cells/vial
Product Description
These endothelial cells were isolated from normal human pancreatic tissue. They offer a physiologically relevant model for research into pancreatic vascular biology, diabetes, and endocrine/exocrine interface studies. Cells are shipped at passage 1 in cryopreserved format. We recommend culturing these cells with Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium for optimal viability and performance.

Handling Instructions Upon Arrival
Store vials in a −80°C freezer for short-term or liquid nitrogen for long-term preservation immediately upon arrival.
Thawing & Subculturing Protocol
-
Pre-coat T25 flask
Add 2 mL of Nuvyra Labs Coating Solution, incubate 5 min, aspirate, and rinse with 4 mL cell rinse solution.
-
Thawing
Warm vial in 37°C water bath, spray with 70% ethanol, wipe down, and transfer cells inside biosafety cabinet.
-
Initial Seeding
Add 10 mL Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium to flask and transfer the thawed cells.
-
Passaging
-
Rinse with 5 mL rinse solution twice
-
Add 2 mL Detachment Solution, aspirate within 20 seconds
-
Incubate 1–2 min at RT or 37°C; tap gently to dislodge
-
Add 5 mL Neutralization Solution, centrifuge at 800g for 5 minutes
-
Resuspend pellet and seed into 2–3 flasks (1:2 or 1:3 ratio)
-
Maintenance
Change medium every 2–3 days. Cells typically reach confluency in ~7 days.
-
Preparing Quiescent Cells
Once nearly confluent, switch to Endothelial Basal Medium for 12 hours before use in experiments.
Note: Use of non-Nuvyra Labs media or reagents may void performance guarantees.
Cells are offered for Research Use Only. Not for Clinical Use.
