Product Description

Human Ovarian Microvascular Endothelial Cells were isolated from normal human ovarian tissue and are supplied at passage 1. These cells are ideal for studying ovarian vasculature, angiogenesis, hormone-driven endothelial responses, and tissue-specific microvascular behavior. For best performance, we recommend culturing with Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium.

Handling Upon Arrival

Transfer vials to a −80°C freezer for short-term storage or a liquid nitrogen tank for long-term preservation.


Thawing & Subculturing Instructions

  1. Pre-coat flask: Add 2 mL Nuvyra Labs Coating Solution to a T25 flask, incubate 5 min, aspirate, and rinse with cell rinse solution.

  2. Thawing: Warm the vial in a 37°C water bath. Wipe with 70% ethanol and transfer cells to a biosafety cabinet.

  3. Seeding: Add 10 mL Nuvyra Labs Endothelial Growth Medium to pre-coated flask and transfer cells.

  4. Passaging:

    • Rinse with rinse solution twice

    • Add 2 mL Detachment Solution, aspirate after 20 sec

    • Incubate 1–2 min until cells round up and detach

    • Neutralize with 5 mL Neutralization Solution, centrifuge at 800g for 5 min

    • Resuspend in fresh medium and split 1:2 or 1:3

  5. Feeding: Replace medium every 2–3 days

  6. Quiescence: For quiescent cells, switch to Endothelial Basal Medium for 12 hours before experiments
