Product Description

A complete, serum-supplemented growth medium optimized for the culture and expansion of immortalized human pancreatic fibroblasts (e.g., hPSC-EC-FBs, PSC-HPFs). This formulation supports high cell viability while maintaining key fibroblast characteristics such as α-SMA, FAP, and PDGFR-β expression, as well as functional capabilities including ECM secretion and cytokine production.

Recommended Culture Protocol

Subculture Procedure

1. Wash cells with Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free PBS

2. Detach using cell detachment solution

3. Neutralize with neutralization solution

4. Centrifuge at 200 × g for 5 minutes

5. Resuspend in fresh IPFGM medium and seed at 5,000–10,000 cells/cm² in T25/T75 flasks

Feeding Schedule

• Replace medium every 48–72 hours

• Passage when cells reach 70–80% confluence (avoid overgrowth)
